Tom, the G57.7 G57.8 and G57.9 will not work correct from G-code.

Also, is there a keyboard hot key that will bring me to MDI without having to touch the screen each time?

I am redesigning my screens, is there an updated KmotionCNC coming out in the near future?  I am using 4.31J now.

I know others have asked, but is there going to be a " set tool length " button in the future?  I like the  " *** " in the fixture offset table for indicating which offset is in use, it would be nice to have that same type of indicator in the tool table, with a " zero " and " set " button after each tool to set the tool length, like the DRO's have.

Thanks, Todd

Hi Todd,

Those are typo errors on the edit screen and Fixture dropdowns.  The correct GCodes are G59.1 G59.2 G59.3.  The screen labels will be fixed in the next release.

No there is not a hotkey to select the MDI.

The latest Tests Version is 4.31k.  This includes the example to have User Buttons do set tool length and set Fixture X and set Fixture Y.

TK

 Tom,

  Where do I download 4.31K?

 Tom,

OK, those look great!  I haven't run them yet, but I was wondering if it's possible to add a " Set " pop up screen that would let you add or deduct for the thickness of the edge finder or Z zero block.  I normally try roll a .375 round shank between the tool and the top surface while raising the tool slowly, when it rolls through, the tool is at .375, with no chance of damage.

Thanks again,

Todd

Hi Todd,

Pop up screen would take some work and it would require everyone to agree how it should work.

But you could add the hard coded offset into the calculation yourself.  Maybe add an additional User Button for the modified button called "Z 0.375"

I didn't even think of that, good idea!
